Venice, the “real” one, lives around the Bed & Breakfast Casa in Laguna, in fact the B&B is located in a beautiful area, still inhabited by Venetians with a unique atmosphere. Here you can, looking out on the terrace of your room, admire the intact charm of the canals and enjoy a spectacular view of the lagoon.
Where we are
The B&B is located a few minutes from Campo SS. Giovanni e Paolo where you can visit the largest church in Venice which has become the “Pantheon” of the Doges, and admire the splendid facade of the Scuola Grande di San Marco, now a Civil Hospital. At the center of the field dominates the monument to Colleoni, a superb sculpture modeled by Verrocchio.
With a few steps you can reach the nearby Church of Miracles, a precious jewel of the Renaissance, to immerse yourself immediately in the most beautiful pages of Venetian history.
A short walk will take you to Piazza San Marco or the Rialto Bridge, and the B&B is very close to the Ospedale vaporetto stop from where all connections to the islands of Murano, Burano, Torcello and the Lido (home of the International Film Festival).
The B&B is also close to the Venice Arsenal and not far from the Giardini of the Biennale where the famous International Art Exhibition is set up.
